Young Disciples wrapped up their Summer Retreat 2024, held from July 4 to July 7, with an inspiring closing service and grace-filled testimonies from participants.
Pastor Edward Shih delivered an inspiring sermon based on Hebrews 6, 11, and Romans 5:3-5. He emphasized that, like the ancestors of faith who endured trials and tribulations, the congregation should also maintain their faith in God. He highlighted God’s loving guidance and preparation in the lives of the faithful.
Pastor Shih encouraged retreat attendees to hold onto their faith, reassuring them that they worship a living God who is present in their lives.
The retreat concluded with a group hike in the Rocky Mountains, allowing members to enjoy nature together and further bond in fellowship.
